Our Portadown physiotherapy team have many years of experience in both the NHS and the private sector.

Margaret Beattie, MCSP

Margaret Beattie was educated locally at Portadown College and qualified as a physiotherapist from The University of Ulster Jordanstown in 1998.

She is a chartered physiotherapist as well as being registered with the Health Professions Council and Physio First.

She gained experience as a junior and then senior physiotherapist in the NHS until 2003 when she commenced work in Banbridge Physiotherapy and Sports Injury Clinic, and worked there until the opening of The Physio Clinic Portadown in 2010.

Most of her post graduate studies have involved spinal pain and dysfunction and musculoskeletal problems, such as sports injuries, knee and shoulder problems.

Appointments

Initial Assessment

On your first appointment your condition will be assessed through the appropriate questions and tests. A conclusion will be drawn, which will be discussed with you, and following your permission, the appropriate treatment will commence.
If physiotherapy treatment is not appropriate for your condition we will advise you best where to seek further help.
